how serious are our political parties towards getting women reservation bill passed?why is it being opposed?women is a 50 percent counter part of men the what is the big deal if they get 33 percent reservation.they have prooved great corporate leaders wether it is kiran majumdar shaw ,indra nooyi or in past the great leader like indira gandhi or the performance of girls outperforming boys .what else needed to be done by women to be considered qualified for any of such reservations

the approval of the govt,.for telangana formation reeling under the pressure cooker situation created by trs unto death hunger strike has given an air of confidence to all the similar demands which died down in the midst of other greater and bigger issues.
the political and other social and regionalistic chauvenist group have taken their demands to streets and to make the situation worse they have taken on the agitation to a evil level of disrupting public property and harming the peace of 99.5 per cent of general masses
which is busy in earning their bread the whole day and for whom it is immaterial wether they are a part of this land or that pradesh till their life is in peace.
it is very important to understand this fact that if the cause for formation of new states is based on language or community then it would do more harm than good to the country.the only criteria of this kind of division should be the probability of better development potential of the newly carved states.
it is equally important for us to analyse what happened to jharkhand ,chattisgarh and uttarakhand in last 8 years to understand the pros and cons of such a decision.chattisgarh has developed alot since then.uttarakhand is better shaped if not shown a considerable growth the worst happened with jharkhand a state with huge growth potential with huge deposits of mineral resources and fuel materials has been suffering from bad governance before the partition and after the partition has seen the greatest scandal and the most corrupt chief minister in form of madhu koda.hope the situation improves in future with a better leader who focusses on growth and usess the potential resources in the right way and right direction
and prooves that a well managed smaller state can turn its fortunes upside down.i would like to end on this optimistic note that the cause and effect of formation of new states would be development only and not hunger strikes,regional or language chauvenism or some historical ground about 60 year old .
